The Web of Goals

It seems like just thinking about losing 5lbs this coming month will involve several different goals that haven't even been posted. Losing 5lbs means I have to go to the gym at least once during the week. I will also have to watch what I eat, eat healthy and eat smart.

So today's lunch consists of some really crappy food. 2 sandwiches - both are PBJ! I'll have to post a blog about the joy of pbj. But I would also like to make a goal of stopping this really horrible food choice. I'll probably goto superstore today and pick up some "better" food choices. It is unfortunate that making a healthy choice means spending alot of money. It really sucks!

So now that I've handed out the halloween candy (I only had one! Promise!) and have cleaned off the supper plates I'm ready to settle down for the evening. One of the biggest problems for me in weight management has been the urge to have a snack after eating dinner. It will be a tough habit to break but I believe it will help me in attaining my goal. Since there isn't much activity in the evening I believe the 6:00 o'clock supper could really be where I pack on the poundage.

Tonights regiment will be a healthy dose of c# code and 30 minutes on the cross trainer.

November Goals

Since this is a work in progress the way I am posting my content will probably change in the short term. I will have to figure out how I'm going to structure this entire site. What I would like to do is have all of my major goals organized to the side and then have posts for each. I don't really want to create separate blogs for all of my major goals, but I might have to simply because they will require plenty of posts.

Since this is the beginning of what I hope will be a long running experiment on the merits of posting your goals I will try and keep this goal short and simple....and successful. So I will start out my goal for this month to be: I will be 5 lbs lighter by the end of the month.

Mission Statement

On this blog I plan to list out my short and long term goals. All goals will be sorted by date. The Short Term goals will be Pinned at 1 week, 2 week, 1 Month and 6 Month Pins.

My Long Term Goals will be set out at 1 Year, 3 Year and 5 Year Pins.


I'm doing this in order to stay on track, let people know what i'm doing and also help me track what I'm doing to help stay on course. I'm allowing comments so people can drop by and kick me in the pants when I start to drop off.
